Participants at our Pokhara community hub contribute to a range of community development projects including teaching, construction, women’s empowerment, public health and early childhood development. Downtime calls for trekking to mountains and lakes, and connecting with Nepali culture.
Nepal is a majestic country full of cultural diversity and chances to enjoy a range of outdoor adventures. While volunteering in picturesque Pokhara, participants can visit its numerous temples, pay a visit to the World Peace Pagoda at Phewa Lake or experience white-water rafting. This placement allows you to gain a personal understanding of Nepali culture and its people during your stay.
