After completing Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) training, which includes lesson planning and classroom management training, go on to support English language learning at local primary, secondary schools and kindergartens. Opportunities are also available to teach informal English language classes for students from the local community, tutor students who require additional support, arrange and manage after school activities for young students, and assist with adult education classes.
Throughout the project interns like yourself will receive learning support from qualified staff. As you gain more confidence, you will be asked to take on more and more responsibility within the classroom environment, eventually planning and conducting lessons by yourself. Â
