Program information

Join us in the mountains of Chiang Mai, Thailand, a region renowned for its picturesque views and endangered Asian elephants. On our community development internship, you’ll gain hands-on experience teaching English, leading workshops and supporting health and conservation initiatives in the traditional Karen community of Huay Pakoot. You’ll also contribute to projects like infrastructure development and women’s STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) education, while exploring Thailand’s lush landscapes, sampling traditional cuisine, immersing yourself in local culture and enjoying scenic hikes.
